AVerMedia MTVPVR15P PCI Interface AverTV PVR 150 Plus - OEM

Is this card compatible with sagetv?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815100135

I just bought it and I'm getting an error when sagetv tries to use it.

"Error (-5,0x80040207) There was a problem setting up software video compression"

Software compression? Doesn't this card have hardware compression?

Checked a PDf of features
"FEATURES:
NTSC Analog TV Tuner Functions:
► Built-in Hardware MPEG2 Encoder to free up your
CPU usage (Compared with Software Compression)"

http://www.aver.com/2005home/product...b/pvr150wb.pdf
if anyone wants to check it out, it's irritating me.

From your link: Built-in Hardware MPEG2 Encoder to free up your
CPU usage (Compared with Software Compression)
It's just not supported yet.

It is supported with the Beta versions!!!! 4.1.5 and 4.1.6 it is supported in, why? because I have two of them working right now!!!! I brought it to Sage's attention back in december and they rolled it out in their two most recent beta versions. It is just not officially supported in their current release. Check out the beta forum.
