Upgraded Divx, Now Problems.
I upgraded Divx to the latest version about a week ago, because I was having trouble FF. Ever since, when I get about 30 to 40 minutes into a divx avi, the picture freezes and audio continues, SageTV freezes, Ctrl+Alt+Del says error application not found, Control Pannel is 2/3 empty, and I have to log off and log back in to get it back to normal. To finish up watching the video, I had to open it up in Divx Video Player (so I can FF to where it froze).
This has happened with several different Divx videos. Anyone elese experiencing this? I thought it might be Gallery Player; so I removed that. Full antivirus scans come up clean. Microsoft AntiSpyware check came up clean. I only use the system for Sage and as a file server. I thought it might be .NET freamwork, so I upgraded that to 2. Anyone have a clue what's going on? Running Sage Server 4.1.3.67 with one MVP client connected. ~z |

I convert all of my recordings using the Divx 6 Converter app and I haven't had any problems. Maybe try reinstalling Divx?
