Sage TV always crashes when used

This is my setup

Hauppauge PVR350
XP pro fully patched
2.8 P4
2gb Memory
DX9c
Sata Drives

I have been using the standard Hauppauge software for 18 months with no problems, but wanted the facilities of Sage, so re installed it. (latest version)

Every time I try to run the watch live TV, the program either stalls, or more commonly totally freezes the computer forcing a switch off.

When I then try again, it tells me I have to install Java again, as it appears to have been deleted.... I have done this many times, including installing jave 5 (?) from their website, but with the same result.

I have the latest hauppauge drivers, motherboard bois etc, but cannot actually make it work ....

On a couple of occasions, It has gone back to the setup wizard when i re run it

On the few ocxcasions it gets further than this, a channel starts to load, but then everything slows down, with 100% processor power, then freezes.

EDIT - I have searched the forums and tried various things before posting

Any suggestions ??

Regards

Paul
