haupage remote
my 10 month old always manages to get my remote and put sage in standby. i can never get it out without grabbing my keyboard. does my remote not have the ability to do that?

You should be able to use the up or down arrow keys to get out of stanby. That is how I do it.

By default, the Hauppauge remote only works with the window that currntly has focus, so once SageTV goes to sleep as an icon in the system tray, it can't control it. You can check out the customized irremote.ini files in my sig lines -- either post 3 of Hauppauge link 1, or post 15 of link 3 to use Windows messages & not worry about whether it ever has focus.
