ASUS A8V Pro or Deluxe

I was trying to decide on keeping the ASUS A8V Pro that I got for my birthday: https://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produ...uctCode=247001

Or returning it and getting the Deluxe model:
https://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produ...uctCode=240412

What I like about the deluxe is the onboard 1394 and the extra SPDIF (optical) I/O.

After thinking about it for a while, I should probably just keep what I have. What I had hoped was that I could plug my STB's optical-out into the optical-in port of the board, and then use the coaxial-out (included on both boards) to connect to my audio receiver. I don't think this will work though, since you have to plug in the audio through the video capture device - at least I think you do.

I also liked the idea of having the on-board 1394 port (even though I already have a USB2.0/1394 PCI card), but I don't really care much for everthing else. I don't need the wireless port since I use a Belkin wireless router as a wireless bridge to my main router, I don't need the extra RAID capabilities...

Well I guess I pretty much decided to keep what I have unless someone can convince me otherwise.
