strange audio problem!
I'm using the mlbdude custom STV (SageMC16x9) and it works great - except for one thing (and i don't think this has anything to do with the STV):
I use TheaterTek to play back ripped dvds. Sage goes to sleep, launches TT, movie plays, returns to sage - all seems to work perfectly. However, when i go to watch live tv or listen to music or anything else in sage, the audio is SSSLLLLOOOOWWW. Sounds like when you played 45 RPM vinyl at 32 RPM ... (my soundcard is an m-audio delta dio 24/96 using the s/pdif connection). I have to exit sage completely and restart, then everything is ok, UNTIL i play another movie. I am using the NVidia decoders that ship with TheaterTek 2.2.1 inside and outside of sage (nvidia PureVideo .188) - for both audio & video. I can't get any other decoders to work properly inside sage with my TV tuner (FusionHDTV5 lite). As long as i don't leave sage for anything, the audio seems to be fine, it's just spawning off that gives me grief. Also, i tried doing the following as well: in my cmd file for playing dvds, just do a "start c:\utils\dvdrun.cmd" and inside that file do: c:\utils\pskill sageTV c:\program files.... (command to run TheaterTek) start c:\Pro...\SageTV\SageTV.exe exit and lots of other variations. if i run the external dvd playback command from a command prompt, it works perfectly (sage is killed, TT plays, upon exiting sage is run and the command window dissappears). However, when run from within sage, it kills sage, TheaterTek is run, but sageTV will never restart and i can't see any error! (if i put notepad in place of sage, notepad WILL come up, so i know it's trying to run sage!) Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Jeff
