Video sync server with clients

Been a sage server/clien user for awhile now. I use a license on a laptop that I tote around the home at times. Sometimes we will be taking in a show on the big tv but I'll be working on a project with my back to it, but an extra laptop on hand. In a perfect scenerio what is playing on the big tv is synced to what is playing on the client laptop. Is this possible currently and if not it doens't seem like it would be impossible to have both sages at least start simutaneosly on a video file somehow. Could this be possible?

maybe this would need or be accomplished by a feature in the client builds that could enable mirroring of the servers videe players action commands... hmm..but then I guess that would need the server to broadcast those out. Maybe a plugin that captures/broadcasts on one machine and allows another or same plugin on other machinest receive and act accordinly.

We had a commercial customer do an implementation just like this. So yes, it can be done. (they did it all with the Studio and some extra Java code tied to it...the MediaPlayer plugin could also be useful for this). But it's not that easy of a task.
