Transcoding Software for Mobile Phone

Hi all,

Tonight I will be the proud owner of an HTC Wizard, with a 320x240 colour screen. It can play video, and take a 2GB MiniSD card. So I'm planning on using it as an OKish portable video player.

I'd like some transcoding software that would do the following:
* Reduce MPEGS to the appropriate pixels
* Trim the sides of 16:9 MPEGS, rather than either distort the picture or stick a black bar top and bottom. Bit like TV companies used to do with films.

Ideally it would do it like some of those MP3 player transfer software, where you just drag and drop the full size file from the computer and it compresses it on the fly as it transfers it to the MP3 player. Anyone know of anything like that?

Rob
