Stuttering Only During CBS Football
I have a 6600GT and I still get stuttering, but it's seemingly only during CBS football. I don't notice anything during regular shows. Although it's possible the slower motion hides it during regular shows, but I'd think I'd notice cameras panning in a jerky motion, and during CBS football it's rather extreme at times. I don't get it during Fox HD football. I'm displaying 1000i, so in my mine CBS should be easier for it than Fox.
BTW, I'm running Purevideo, VMR9, Hardward Accel, but not FSE, because it has issues on my setup with every other release of Sage, and were at that odd numbered release right now. So the question is, why would CBS be so much worse? |

I had "motion" issues as well that went away entirely once I switched back to overlay instead of VMR9 with Purevideo. It's worth a shot.

If overlay had the transparent menus, I'd use it.
Well, only one more football game--on ABC I believe. Hopefully that won't be bad and I'll have changed the system somewhat by next year (different video drivers, different SageTV version, etc.) |

I believe you can achieve "transparent" menus with overlay by enabling "Overlay Color Keying" in the advanced options...
