Windowed interface responds slowly; full-screen normally; cause?

EDIT: DISREGARD: I believe this is related to having installed the Yahoo Widget Engine on my computer, as if I close the program, SageTV works perfectly again.

Anyone encountered an issue where if you click on something in SageTV with it in windowed 640x480 mode (with move focus w/ cursor off) it either registers your click as an item elsewhere in SageTV, or takes several seconds to respond? Also, if I try using the keyboard to navigate with the arrow keys on a menu, I have a very weird issue as well. Say I am hitting UP on the keyboard 3 times, maybe .5 seconds between. If I then press down, it will go up once before it goes down upon a second press, and then does the same if I press up again to try to switch directions. It also will minimize SageTV to the tray if I press ENTER to try to select an item. OK on the remote does this too while this problem is occuring.

I don't know what prompted this to happen, as it only cropped up last night sometime (I don't know exactly when), and I dismissed it assuming it was just a one-time glitch. It does this most of the time when I have tried today, and I have rebooted the system to try to fully reset Sage without luck. I'm wondering if there's an option I changed that may have seemed unrelated but actually caused this glitch that I might be able to change back?
