InterVideo Decoder with SageTV Client?

Hi,

Just got my network up and running. Testing out the SageTV Client software.

So far the installation has been completely trouble-free (worked all the bugs out of my wireless network before even trying it).

Only question I have is.... My MPEG decoder of choice has been the InterVideo for Hauppage on the main system. I've tried decoders that were supposed to be higher quality, but can't get motion completely smooth with those. Maybe my video cards aren't up to the task (ATI 9600)?

Anyhow... Is there any way to use the InterVideo MPEG Decoder on my client system? Won't install from the Hauppage disk because the hardware is not detected.

Thanks MUCH for any help!!!
Roy

Well... nevermind....

The Cyberlink MPEG Decoder that comes with PowerDVD looks great on the client system. Forgot about that one...

Very happy with how SageTV Client works and will purchase.

Thanks,
Roy

Intervideo windvd installs the codecs on any system... you purchase one copy -- and you can install on all your systems...

Thanks. Didn't think of that either.

So far, so good with the Cyberlink though. Tried using everything on this computer I could think of to try and make the client crash on the other one. Just can't do it. SageTV + SageTV Client works EXCELLENT!!! Even wireless.
