Having trouble setting a key to a command

I use a keyboard and before when I was trialing sage I had set the "=" key to FF#2 and the "-" key to RW#2 (FF#2/RW#2 are set to 150sec). When I purchased sage and reinstalled it I went to set the "=" key to FF#2 except after I hit the "=" key it shows that it set the "E" key to FF#2. When watching a show if I press the "=" key nothing happens. If I press the "E" key then it skips ahead 150sec. Now if I go to unbind a command and I press the "E" key it asks if I want to remove the "E" key from the FF#2 command. If I try to unbind the "=" key after I have unbound the "E" key it will tell me that "=" is not bound. However, if I try to unbind the "=" key before I unbind the "E" key then it asks if I want to remove the "=" key from the command.

I thought my keyboard was screwed up so I opened notepad, when I press the "=" key it shows the =. When I press "E" it shows E. So the keyboard is working fine.

It sounds confusing, and it is. I have no idea what to do.

I tried using the Windows Onscreen keyboard and it does the same thing as my regular keyboard.

That's a wierd one... it happens for several keys around the equal sign & below it. It looks like it just ends up using the first letter of the key for some strange reason, since it used 'S' for Semi-colon & Slash.

Anyway to fix it or manually set the key in a commands file somewhere?

I have reported that problem with those keys, but I don't know what to do about it. You would probably have to know what code to use for that key in order to edit the properties file. You could send a message to tech support to see if they have a suggestion.
