IR file for Dish322 and USB-UIRT
I've recently switched to DishNetwork, and have a pair of 322 receivers. I'm using a USB-UIRT, and can't get Sage to 'learn' my remotes (I probably have the 56Khz version of the remotes). Can anyone hook me up with working IR files? I need two different addresses (I think I'm using address 6 and 9 now, but I'll readdress the remotes to match the files if anyone has 'em).
Thanks a million for any help! ...Charlie |

Last I heard it only work with TV1 not TV2
Set TV1 to address to 1 and make your IR eye is on rigth IR input on box after all there are 3 of them on the front. |

Correct - I should have clarifed. I am using TV1 (the IR) remotes for both 322 boxes. I use the UHF (TV2) remotes for tuners dedicated to TVs (not Sage). I realize the UHF (TV2) remotes won't work with IR receivers.
I have tried setting one of the remotes to address 1 (actually, I've gone through most of the 16 addresses) in the process, and have aimed it all over the front of the UIRT, as close as 1-2 inches, and as far away as 1-2 feet. I've literally been at it for days now, and have not been able to get it to successfully learn. I've all but given up, and as a last resort, posted here to see if anyone had working IR files for this hardware. Thanks for your reply, SHS - definitely good advice, but sadly, I've aready tried. ...Charlie |

cgrey is sage even 'learn' the remote IR codes?.
Can you post your IR file |

Nope - doesn't learn anything. When Sage tells me to 'press and hold the 0 key on the remote until told to let it up', I do get a solid red light on the UIRT, and after about 15-seconds, I get the message that 'there was an error learning...' (I don't have the exact wording right in front of me, I'm at work now), and to press Select (Enter) to continue. I press enter and it puts me right back to learn, and I can go through the same loop (try to learn "0" and fail) indefinitely. No IR file ever gets created.

Yep - all other remotes are working fine. My 'master' remote still operates all the Sage menus, and I even tried learning from two other remotes I had laying around, to be sure the UIRT itself isn't bad.
I should mention - I believe it has something to do with some DishNetwork remotes. I've found, in doing some research, that some of the Dish equipment uses the 56Khz range, which apparently is somewhat problematic for the UIRT (but is supposed to work). I've also posted this on the USB-UIRT forum, hoping to get some help there, too. |

Well my USB-UIRT dose have the additional 56KHz IR Sensor so it must likely that would be what you need in the first place and can unstand why people just don't pay ext $5 for it when in long who know it may come in handly.

Speaking for myself - when I bought my UIRT two years ago, I didn't know there was a $5 option for the 56Khz sensor. If I knew about it, or had a hunch that I'd need it, I'd have surely gotten it.
So - back to my original question - anyone have working IR files for Dish322 receivers? |

Thanks a bunch, SHS. As soon as I get home from work, I'll give it a shot. Hopefully the 301 and 322 use the same codes on at least one of the addresses.
