Service Error 1067

When trying to start SageTV as a service I get this error:

Could not start the SageTV service on the local computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

Nothing in logs but the errors being logged.

Anyone have an idea on how to correct this?

Running:

SageTV 4.0
Windows 2003 R2 all updates and SP's installed

TIA

There's more to running Sage on Windows 2003 server than just installing it and the updates. Search the forum or the web but I think there is DirectX stuff missing.

Thanks for getting back with me.

SageTV runs fine. Running clients from it is also OK. No problems, I did nothing special. But trying to run SageTV as a service is where I get this error.

I will search again, but didn't see anything special about running SageTV in service mode on 2003.

Added: I loaded SageTV on a WinXP machine. I get the same error, so I am thinking that it is a SageTV version issue. I will look on how to update SageTV to the current version and try that.

TIA
