Hauppauge 350/150 antenna oddness

This is weird. hopefully one of you will have an answer/solution.

I was using only a Hauppauge 350 (TV Out) for some time now with STV4 with little issue. Bottom line, with only one tuner all is OK.

1. I added a 150 yesterday and weirdness started. first I noticed that if I disconnect the 350 antenna, It still shows on my TV, while only the 150 has an antenna (?)! Is this normal? There is no TV out on the 150 of course. How is it doing that?

2. Secondly, if I watch Live TV using the 350 (150 antenna unplugged), the picture is somewhat pixelated, where before the 150 it was "clear".

3. I get BSOD's now (two tuners) with channel changes.

I hope these make some sense, LOL.

Any help?

XP Home
AMD 3000+ (Barton)
1GB PC2700

Thanks

No one has any ideas about these? Come on guru's.

I think switching to the Barton 3000+ (from a 2300) resolved the BSOD's, but not sure yet.

Take a look and see what IRQs the cards are using. Possibly they are sharing an IRQ which is causing the issue. I would say remove all the drivers using hwclear. Relocate the cards to different PCI slots and reinstall. Make sure they end up with different IRQs.

Thanks gplasky.

Is your suggestion for the pixelation issue? I can't see it being for the antenna oddity. Any thoughts on that?

I'll post back. i only have 3 PCI slots (small PVR case) and none free. Will do some juggling.

Edit: Checked. One's using IRQ 17 and one's using 19. Sigh.
