EPG & PPV for canadian expressvu

is it normal that in my program guide I dont see any program info for any PPV channels?

I use expressvu eastern canada. the PPV channels show up, but there is no programming info for them... just empty space in the guide... similarly, you cant jump to the PPV via the guide as there is nothing to click.

I am just wondering if this is normal or if I've got a messed up install.
If it's normal, why arent PPV events listed?

This is normal. Most EPGs get their data from Zap2it, which does not provide PPV info in its listings. The general belief is that the providers (Dish, Bell etc) do not provide this data to Zap2it either.

Some users have been able to get this data by using DVB cards to get the data from the sats directly and then converting the info in to a format that Sage can read via plugins. Take a look at the MyTheatre plugin discussion in the hardware section.
