Help/question: Favorite advanced options

I have SageTV 4.0 installed and think I have just discovered a bug in the Advanced Options menu in favorite details.
Limiting a favorite to a single day or hour does not have any affect at all! When I go back into the Advanced Options menu after setting this feature it is reset back to "any day" or "any hour" and in my recording schedule there is listings on other days/hours than I configured.
Is there other who had the same experience or who even know's how to fix this?

I just tried this in v4.1.4 & didn't have any problem getting a fav to be limited to a particular day. You could try updating to the latest version, but I don't remember having that problem in the past either.

Hmmm... Are you using a language other than English for the UI? i.e.: what is the name of the day you are selecting?

Thanks for your quick reply

I have tried to limit a favorite to tuesday and also saturday but I can't get it to work.
In detailed setup/multimedia the UI language is set to Danish, and I have just tried to change it to English, but I cant do that. When it try I get the choice of English or France but when I select either of them the pup up menu just disapears and it is still danish which are selected.

Do you have that problem for a lot of settings options -- your selected change isn't accepted & it stays at the previous setting?

If so, I'm not really sure what would cause that.

Edit, BTW: I'm told there is a known locale setting issue regarding limiting favorites to a day of the week when the locale is not the US.

So far I hav not seen this problem with other settings.

Do you still suggest that I try to upgrade to 4.1.4? Or is there other things that I could try out first?

It turns out that both are known issues related to non-US locale settings and should be fixed in some future version. (So, yes, the problem is still in v4.1.4.)
