Place shifting!!!

Ok, this is just too cool not to ask when. If you haven't downloaded the TV spot with Jeff you need to see it but to make a long story short, Jeff and his guys have developed a webserver app that will make any high speed connected computer act just like a sage box. Same interface and streaming video (Mpeg 4 I believe). So my question is will this work on Sage recorded HD files and when will this be available for Beta testing (Hopefully soon)?

What a good video!

Jeff talks a little too fast, but hey Sage has ALOT to offer this year.

Unfortunately, Placeshifting means the IT guys will have no reason to leave work.

Um... actually, now that I watch it again, I think they got him to slow down a little bit while recording the video.

What a nice app when traveling on business, now that most hotels have high speed connections.

Would be cool to have a save to local disk feature, so you could watch on the airplane the game you missed the night before.
