Greek Characters in EPG
Most of the greek characters don't appear in the EPG. It has something to do with the font size. By experimenting with the font size in the properties I make some characters appear and disappear.

I suspect that you are using 3D mode. Switch 3D mode off and use the overlay renderer.
That's how I use SageTV and greek characters appear fine. SageTV has promised that it will be fixed for 3D in a subsequent release.

I had the same Hebrew character problems. To fix it just change in sagetv.properties file (When sagetv is completely shut down):
ui/use_texture_maps_for_3d_text=true to: ui/use_texture_maps_for_3d_text=false and set 3D acceleration -> ON... Everything should work now! Hope it will help you too... Oren.
