PVR150 - Audio but no Video

Hardware
=======
PVR 150 (nonMCE) Model 1045
Gigabyte GA-7VKMP Motherboard
Athlon XP 2400+ Processor
Nvidia GeForce FX5200 Video Card
Soundblaster Live!

Software
=======
Windows 2000 Pro w/ SP4 + Windows Update
SageTV 4.1 Trial Version (SageTV_V4_1_3Setup.exe)
Directx 9.0c
Using the latest drivers from Hauppauge's website:
Tried: (pvr150_base_driver_2_23258.zip) (Beta driver version 2035_23297)

I have Time Warner Cable (Extended Basic); coax connected to the PVR150 Tuner card.
My video is output to TV via the Nvidia GeForce FX5200's S-Video out.

Everything works fine with WinTV2000.

In SageTV I get sound but no video.
I have tried all the SageTV video settings (Basic, Medium, Standard, Advanced).
I have tried various Decoders (SageTV, Intervideo, NVIDIA).

Also, when attempting to auto-tune stations in the SageTV setup, I see the video for each channel flash for a second but no channels are enabled. I aussume this means that it could not tune any channels.

Please help!

The first question for someone to offer suggestions is: is this a problem using the 150 in SageTV, or a config problem playing the recordings?

Can you make a recording in SageTV & try to play it in some other program, such as Windows Media Player?

Andy, thanks for the reply.

I recorded a show in SageTV and played it back in Media Player and it also has sound and no video. Does this point to a driver issue? Is there a recommended driver for the PVR150 (nonMCE).

Thanks!

I just wanted to narrow it down to a playback or recording problem, and it seems to be on the recording side... I would consider reinstalling the tuner & reconfiguring it in SageTV. Does anyone else have comments on using a 150 on Windows 2000?

Well I have done some more investigating...

I reinstalled the Happauge PVR150 drivers as well as SageTV and I still have the same problem. This time I tried the latest driver on the shspvr forums for the PVR150. I also tried MediaPortal and Windows MCE2005 and I have the same problem there too - can not autotune channels. For variety I tried KnoppMyth (Linux based PVR) and I was able to get up and running OK!

So, KnoppMyth works and WinTV2000 under Windows works but I can't get any PVR software (SageTV, MediaPortal, MCE2005) to tune channels under Windows. When I attempt to watch a channel under the Windows based PVRs I get audio and no video???

It seems to me that something is wrong with my software or configuration of the PVR150 under windows. I am only loading the driver and MPEG decoder (Intervideo) for the PVR. I am not loading any of the other apps. Then I load WinTV2000 and verify functionality. Once I know this is working I install SageTV.

Any ideas? Am I missing some piece of software to make this work?
Can someone give me the known working PVR150 driver versions and SageTV configuration for this PVR?

One more thing... Almost forgot... I also installed a AverMedia UltraTV 1500 under SageTV by itself and it worked!
I just can't get the Hauppauge PVR150 to work.
Note: I installed these cards seperately, I am not trying to get them to work together.

Thanks in advance!
