SageTV ME Displays SageTV Server Screen?

Ok, I have read many posts here and I am confused.

If Ihave a PC in my office running SageTV 4 and I put a SageTV Media Extender on my TV in my bedrooms, what SCREENS do I see when on my Beedroom TV? Do I see the same screens on my TV that I see on my PC SageTV?

This brings up a lot more questions. If I get 4 SageTV Media Extenders for 4 TV's in the house, can each TV schedule recordings, playback, live TV, etc?

How are conflicts resolved if person on TV #1 requests to Delete a recorded show while person on TV #2 is watching it? I can list many more, but lets start with this.

Each extender displays its own UI, just as if you were running multiple clients on multiple PCs. You can even set each one to use a different STV if you wish, so the UI could look different on each one. Each one has the ability to schedule shows, play recordings, etc -- it is the full UI.

I don't think I've ever tried deleting a recording while it was in use on another client, but it should refuse to do so since it is still in use elsewhere.

Thank you Andy for the quick reply.

Just to make sure I understand you, each person on each of the 4 TV's which have the SageTV Media Extender can each watch a different recording recorded on the SageTV PC server? So the SageTV PC server is streaming 4 different recordings to 4 TV's at the same time?

I am still confused as to what the SageTV Media Extender screens look like on my TV. Are the screen shots listed at http://www.sagetv.com/stvscreenshots.html?sageSub=mvp
screen shots of SageTV AND of SageTV Media Extender?

The MVP has the same interface, so what you would see in SageTV on Windows is what you would see via the MVP on your TV. The STV files define what the interface looks like & SageTV uses the same STV files on Windows, Linux, and the MVP. It is just harder to take a screen shot of a Linux or MVP display.

Ok great - That helps - reading all these posts, it was not obvious to me what the screens looked like on the SageTV Media Extender.
