Server migration -- no EPG
So I migrated my server to a new box yesterday. It's back up, and everything seems to be working (except for Service mode, but that's a topic for another day). Live TV works, previously recorded shows work, they're even still in the Sage TV Recordings list, thanks to copied sage.properties and wiz.bin files. But I'm not getting any EPG data. Is there anyone who can help me troubleshoot this?

Well, I'm using the XP SP2 firewall, and it already has Sage listed as an exception, but I listed those ports as exceptions as per your post. No joy.
Another symptom I've just discovered is that my MVP won't play content. I can get the Sage interface and list of shows, but when I click "Watch Now" it just sits there. Does that provide any clues? |

The other issue w/the EPG is there could have been a problem on SageTV's EPG server side of things... try toggling a channel twice in channel setup & seeing if the guide starts to get data after a little while.

That fixed it. Thanks!
Does anybody know if I need to keep those ports open to the world, or will my global Sage exception in the Windows firewall take care of that? |
