Which connectors to use w/DLP TV?

I am hooking up a new Toshiba 52HMX95 DLP TV. I know nothing about these. I am first going to hook it up to a DISH satellite (that is not here yet).
1. What are the best connectors to use (S-Video or what)?
2. Once I get the Satellite hooked up to the TV, then I will get Sage going w/it.

HDMI/DVI, VGA, or component.

Thanks for the reply.
Are component and composite the same thing?
What is HDMI? Is it for sound or video or both?

Component and Composite are definitely not the same thing. Component uses 3 cables to cary Chroma and red/blue color signals separately, and can cary all HD resolutions (up to 1080i).

Composite caries all signals on the same wire and is limited to 480i.

Component is far, far better than composite.

HDMI is a superset of DVI-D that allows for multichannel audio as well as 10/12bit video IIRC.

I say HDMI/DVI because if the display has an HDMI input a simple DVI-HDMI adapter will work.

That really helps, thanks.

Sorry I am confused on the above qoute. Sorry for my ignorance.
Do I need an HDMI and a DVI cable, or just the HDMI cable?
Also, I have no idea what outputs the Dish HD Satellite receiver has on it.

For the PC you'll want a DVI to HDMI cable.

Just so you know you can't record HD (in HD) from a sat box. You'll have to use S-Video to connect to the PC. Otherwise it will probably have component and maybe DVI/HDMI for connection directly to the display.
