Stupid question (maybe not?)

I would like to my change a video recording directory on the server from a mapped network drive to a UNC path. I notice there is a prompt to "Change Directory Path" feature when I click the mapped drive under Detailed Setup (curiously, this feature is unavailable when clicking the library import paths).

The question: will I lose all SageTV recordings on that drive if I change the directory path, from a mapped drive to the absolute network path, even though it's the same physical location with the same files? My wife would be very angry if I wipe out a year's worth of recordings, and she scares me.

Thanks,

KJ

Edit: The answer is....YES! It was a stupid question (answered in the FAQ in this section).

I hope your YES meant that "Yes, it will work" rather than "Yes, all the recordings will be lost".

Nope. It was YES! I'm stupid for not looking at the FAQ.
