PVR150 remote doesn't work
I have read all the Hauppauge remote posts listed under Opus4's signature as well as Timrob's post here http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...auppage+remote and I still cannot get my PVR150 remote to work.
I have 2 pvr150s installed, I have 2 remotes and 2 IR receiver cables so I have one plugged into each card (I know the driver uses only one of the two installed cards). Sage v4.1 with the new 45 button remote selected under detailed setup - commands. I have the latest ir.exe driver from the Hauppauge website installed. I also downloaded the irremote.ini file from Opus4 and copied it into the windows directory. It appears that neither cable sees the signal from either remote. No matter what button I push nothing happens. I have opened notepad and tried the remote and nothing happens. I have restarted the ir.exe application and windows numerous times and nothing. Any ideas? Thanks Axeman |

If you have no MCE version of a Hauppauge tuner installed too (they have no IR port) and IR.exe does not work with the Hauppauge apps or with debug.txt loaded in notepad, then I suggest contacting Hauppauge to see what they have to say about it.

After asking on the Hauppauge forums I found out that the remote will not work if you use two PVR-150 (non-mce) cards. It's a popular card, so keep this in mind if you plan on buying 2 of these.
