Padding Problems

I've been having problems with the padding feature which seem like issues with the way Sage views padding.

1. Padding stops recording once you pass the shows ending time. This is happening a lot with sports like Basketball. I have an hour of padding set to my favorite of NBA basketball. A lot of times there will be more than one game on at a time. I tend to jump back and forth between the two so that I never have to see commercials, I can just skip forward as they are both recording at the same time. Problem is when I hit the end of the time slot and I jump channels, it stops recording even if it hasn't recorded the full padding as of yet. It marks the show watched and stops recording. So when I try to jump back, instead of picking up where I left off it clears the watched flag and starts the show over as if I had watched the whole show. It seems that if I set padding it should record the padding, reguardless of if it thinks the show is watched.

2. Padding on conflicting favorites. Sometimes I have favorites that conflict and I have to go to resolve conflicts and pick which shows I want to record out of my favorites. When I do that, it changes it to a manual recording, and while it is still a favorite with a padding time set, the padding time does not record. It views it as a manual recording with no padding and just records the EPG scheduled timeslot causing the ending to shows to get cut off.

Seems that it should know that you resolved some conflicting favorites and that these favorites have padding associated with them. Not ignore the padding.

Is anyone else having issues with this?
