playback hiccups since upgrade to 4.1.3.67
Since I upgraded to latest version, I get hiccups in video playback. The video plays normally, but intermittantly (30-120 secs apart), the playback speeds up to 'play' approx 2 secs worth in about 1/2 a second. Video and sound are both accellerated.
This only happens on my SageTV Server - XP1800, 512mb RAM, Ti4200 connected to a SDTV (no monitor), no antivirus. The problem does not show on my client. I have changed VMR9/Overlay, DirMon&SA settings, changed from NVidia decoder to SageTV decoder; no change. This didn't happen until the 4.1 upgrade. I can revert to the 4.0, however I would like to get this working as future upgrades will be based on 4.1, etc etc. Any suggestions? TIA

Well, the problem has grown. Are there others who are seeing the following:
- deleting a show while watching it (paused) causes LiveTV to come on instead of the privous menu, - rebooting the computer during a recording causes the show that was being recorded to be marked as watched, and the remainder not recorded after reboot finishes, - general stability problems, crashes, and sage and/or winxp hangs, requiring reboot? In general 4.1.3 seems much less stable that 4.0 or 2.2. I think I will have to revert to the older version.

Well, I tried to revert to 4.0, but the problem remained. I then completely uninstalled 4.0 (after copying wiz.bin and properties to another directory), deleted the sagetv directory and all the files left by then uninstall, and re-installed 4.1.3. The hiccups are now gone, as are the 'watched' rebooted file problems. Too soon to tell if stability is as good as before the first upgrade to 4.1, but it has definately improved.
