sageclient -multi in 4.13/4.14?

Can one still use sageclient -multi to use multiple clients in support of Matt's MVP plugin...for some reason I no longer can get this to work and am wondering if one new "feature" was to eliminate this.

Anyone still using multiple MVPs with Matt's plugin with 4.13 or 4.14?

Nope-no can do. You should look at moving on to Sage's version. One advantage is now the video preview window works on the MVP.

What about those of us that have used -multi while working with Studio? I have enjoyed being able to have 2 instances of Studio open. It would be a real set-back to not be able to do this any more!

Update: I just found Andy's response in this thread, but the solution offered doesn't appeal to me. Unless I misunderstood, he's saying that you have to stop using the service mode on your server in order to get multiple instances (using the -client flag). I don't like the idea of losing the benefits of service mode (on the server) in order to do Studio development (on a separate box)! Anyone have any ideas?
