Not enough Resources(PVR500&Fusion3) New Motherboard?

I just got my new Pci express Motherboard and all went well with install except that the MOBO has a 24 pin connecter and my 300 watt PS only has a 20 pin. After some reserch I found that I could use the 20 and should be ok and that is how it seemed. After the install I noticed that only one of the tuners on the 500 was working, the other said that it did not have enough resources and that I had to disable others. I tryed that to no avail and discovered that the only way to get the 500 to work is to take out my Fusion3 HDTV card. Could this be due to lack of power to the mobo.

Depending what you have running in there that could be part of the issue. But you're getting a specific error message telling you that it is a resource issue, probably IRQ. You need to go in and disable ports you aren't using like serial, parallel and anything else you can give up. Disable these in the bios, not Windows. Then take all of your cards out and start over again. Try a different slot and install the PVR 500 first if you installed the Fusion first last time. You don't mention what video card you're using but you could also have a power issue too.

I am hoping that it is a power issue because I have disabled everything (even things I use like sound and lan) just to see if it is even possible to get the two to run together, with no success.

Not sure if you did this but you would need to disable ports etc. in the BIOS not in windows device manager. Also try switching slots that the cards are plugged into. Try different physical configurations. My Asus A8N-SLI deluxe wouldn't work with all my tuners when I updated to the latest BIOS at the time so I went back to the stock BIOS. Also check to see if you have the latest chipset drivers. Are you by any chance running a VIA chipset on your motherboard?

I have disabled every port possible and tried every slot config there is (only have 3 slots) I have an ATI Xpress 200P chipset and am trying to flash the bios to see if that helps but I cant get the flash program to work.
