Small static on top of screen

I'm using a PVR 250 to do recordings (2 actually and they both do the same thing) and I'm getting a small line of static on the top of the recording. Its only a small line, but its still a little anoying. I'm using v4.1 and have seen this since 2.2.8 Any ideas what could be causing it. Its no a huge deal, but it would be nice to get rid of it.

Adjust your overscan settings in Sage to move that line of data off-screen. It is probably some of the control information that is included in the broadcast, but most TV sets position that portion of the picture off screen (in the overscan region, to be specific).

I have the same problem, but only on one specific channel. All other channels are fine, but the WB has that small line of static at the top. I just adjusted my vertical stretch in the Aspect ratio settings to 101% and the line disappeared.

Just as long as you guys know it's not a "problem"... it's there all the time and not just in sage. It's just hidden in the overscan everywhere but when a PC is placed into the mix.

Thanks for the info. Just wanted to make sure my cards weren't going bad or something.

I THINK that's the un-decoded closed-caption data you're seeing...
