MVP works thank you all!!
Just got a couple of MVP's for Christmas. Have a 1.2 version that I just got working and will work on the v1.1 later tonight.
A couple of observations that may help others: I had sagetv version 4.0, you must download the latest version, can't remember 4.3 or something, it will have the MVP stuff within sagetv to make this thing work. You might want to install the MVP software from Hauppauge just to see that the thing works and connects. If you only have sagetv on your computer (like me) the MVP Hauppauge software will not play your sagetv MPEG4 stuff saved by sagetv....not to worrry. Uninstall the hauppauge software and (important) reboot your computer after uninstalling the software. If you don't have the latest sagetv installed, install it know. My install worked right on top of 4.0....can't believe it but it did, thank you Frey!!!! I followed the instructions in appendix M, it took a couple of minutes for the MVP to boot up itself, but it works like a champ....even live tv...I really can't believe that. The nice thing is that I don't have to worry about a separate plug-in or anything. It just works. Thank you all that have got asked Frey to get this thing integrated into sagetv. Now for the question.....how do I change or set up what buttons run what on the Hauppauge remote for the MVP? I will admit I haven't looked very deep, but I also haven't found anything either. Kindly direct me where to go to find this info...thanks again!!!!! Bob E.

Got it.
Thanks, don't have time tonight to do it...putting in the cat5 wire around the house. Thanks for the location. I was over at a friends house tonight..they have TIVO...it looks so close to this new version of Sagetv, although Sage has essentially remained close to what it started with when I got into it with version 2.0. With all the small improvements and such over time, I really feel good about purchasing Sagetv....the Media MVP truly gives me tivo around the house, but without a clunky box sitting my tv. My other half would have a cow if she saw a big tivo box sitting on her kitchen cabinet just so she could watch NCIS on a 13 inch tv....the Media MVP is perfect for what we need to do....watching the episodes of our favorite shows while we are occupied doing something else more important.
Andy, again thanks for your expertise on this beautiful program. I think some Tivo people are about to get a rude awakening when they visit me in the next couple of weeks....ha, ha on them!!!
