Well, there is a Winamp plugin for SageTV here. So I guess logic would say you could use plugins to Winamp that enable you to play iTunes library in Winamp, and maybe SageTV can play it through that Winamp plugin. I never tried it, but hey, it's always worth a try, right? If it works, please by all means let me know because I might be interested as well. I just know the plugins I am listing below work for inside of iTunes. Whether or not SageTV can in turn make use of them I do not know but we will find out, won’t we.
http://www.Winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=139248 for iTunes XML Library plugin. http://www.Winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=138888 for iPod management plugin. Last edited by Outvit; 12-22-2005 at 06:33 PM. |

Well, that was a lofty dream. Doesn't work as far as I can tell.

What about using Greg Germ's STV that will launch external players from within Sage? This is assuming that you have or that there is a media player that will play iTunes on your system.

it seems that Winamp cannot play protected files.
It should be great if SageTV could play protected videos & audios... But may be I'm dreaming...
