Playing MPeg2 Breaks Mpeg 4 Audio
Is anyone else running into this problem? I've seen it with 4.0 and 4.1.3.
If I view Live TV, recorded TV, or DVDs or anything else that uses the nV PureVideo decoder, it breaks Mpeg 4 playback (Xvid, Divx, h264; .avi and .mkv). Specifically, it breaks the audio part of Mpeg4 playback. This is odd. All files play when rendered in GraphEdit. Audio routes to AC3Filter-->Direcsound. Everything Mpeg4 gets routed to FFDSHOW Mpeg 4 decoder and the .avi or .mkv gets split and the audio portion goes directly to AC3 filter. FFDshow audio is completely disabled and does not show up in the graph. If I exit Sage and restart, the problem is fixed. Any ideas? I have not tried using other Mpeg2 decoders...such as the ones included with Sage. I can do so for troubleshooting purposes, but I use PureVideo as it's the only way I can get stutter free VMR 9 processing of OTA HD.
