Plugin version confusion

Ok from reading the thread two plugins exist right? Lester's for version < .15 and corkym's for >= .15. Is this correct?

My next question is, how do i know what version i have.I ask because i have xmltv grabber 0.1.16, but am using the plugin you get via the developers page (plugin.zip) This works fine (which is good ), but XMLTV doesn't update every day despite the fact i get new epg data everyday Would a different plugin solve this?

I think i have tried the other plugin (xmltv.zip) (started confusing myself) and it hung at the getting data page - is this where it would hang if it wasn't working?

What i don't want is the non update problem to be because I have got the wrong plugin, even though it gets the data correctly when i configure a new source

Does this make any sense to anyone

Matt

robogeek has posted quite a nice guide for installing the plugin. Please try his instructions located in this post. His post details how to get the plugin for xmltv 0.5.16 working and saves me repeating the same thing in this post.

Cheers
Lester
