9600 XT
Just got myself a cheap one of those (manufactured by Sapphire), for one of my clients. After looking at the hardware manager in XP and the 5.12 catalyst control manager, I'm not so sure anymore that I really have one: the board identifies itself as 9600 Series.
Does anybody here own this video card? |

i own the Powercolor version of the 9600XT. It does properly show up in device manager as 'xt' and in the display properties though. Even if you go to display properties it shows up as plain 9600? That is kind of weird. Not sure where else you would look

Notice it says "Radeon 9600 Series". That just means that it is from the 9600 family. The 9600 cards are all the same; it's usually just the clock speeds that are different. If you really want to make sure, the real model should be marked on the card itself.

It has a sticker on it that says XT, but right after I bought it, just the card, used without anything I read something at the Sapphire forums that SE's with a flashed bios are on the market.
It has been running for a while now, with the expected core clock > 500 .. |
