Sagetv software unable to access network drives

This is quite frustrating.

Sagetv server
-runs windowsXP home
-Can access network drives from windows explorer on the fileserver and other computers that are on my network
-Can't access network drives from sagetv software for the fileserver

windows file server
-Has shared drives and runs win2k.
-I have tried removing the permisions settings and no luck

Its really madning as I want sage to act as my media center software but it is really holding me back in this regard.

edit-From media center I can play files that are in my network drives but I can't copy them.

Are you using service mode? If so, see the info starting at the bottom of p. 15 in the v4.1 manual; if not using service mode, then I'm not sure what to say. How are you trying to access the network drives from within SageTV? No files were removed from the SageTV\jars subdirectory?

Yes I am using service mode, I have tried to import directories through the detailed setup. I will post pictures tonight of what is going on.

If you're using Service mode then you have to use UNC paths, not mapped drives. \\Server\drive\directory

Ok guys here is what I have tried to do. When going to import I seleft my network which leads me to the workgroup

I select on my file server FORT_KNOX and am presented with this below. The icon just spins and then nothing happens. I select again on FORT_KNOX and nothing happens

If I select on HTPC I am presented with this.

This is the way the structure has been ever since 2.0.

I can play files though

And this is the structure I am presented with

I can also get to the my movie files

After playing badboys I went back to my imported video directory and noticed that it was there. I really would like to get this working.

network access

I'm very new to sage TV. I have noticed that the user names and passwords need to be the same on the server and client machine. I don't know if this is your problem but it may be worth checkin.
