Tuner priority settings problem

Hi,

A problem that I wanted some inputs on-

Tuner priority setting is not working too well for me.....
I have 5 tuners on a server- 2 of them are 150/250, one USB-2 PVR, one Plextor TV402U and one AverHDTV tuner.

I have been trying to set tuner priority for some time now- without success.....basically I edit the sage properties file after turning off sage/ and sage service...edit the file to get the desired priority......1- 5, and restart sage.

Now sage does not see 3- 4 encoders and shows just one or 2 encoders (tried this a few times now- and always same results). I would like to set the PVR 150/250 (PCI cards) as the two primary default tuners and the two USB tuners only as required- but the priority setting does not let me do this.
Right now- I have to resign myself to accepting Plextor as my primary tuner- even for non-divX recordings- which I don't fancy......

Anyone have similar issues? Anything I'm doing wrong- ? Any inputs appreciated.
