Unsupported hardware

I have a couple Avermeida PVR 150 Plus's that there currrently isn't support in sage for. However, they work perfectly in Beyond TV and MediaPortal. I thought breifly about switching to Beyond TV (but it feels sooo much slower than Sage) or Mediaportal (however I am not nearly as happy with the GUI as Sage), so then I had a thought, if on my sever, can I run MediaPortal and Sage together, so that mediaportal records the programs and sage shares them to my sage clients? I realise this wouldn't work with live tv thru sage, nor would it allow me to schedule recordings thru sage (I would set them as favorites in mediaportal). Could I make these recordings show up in the recorded shows "area" rather than imported videos? This would be a temp solution until Sage supports my capture cards (I have been assured they are working on it, but no timeline).

For the default STV, such recordings would have to be imported & would appear in the Video Library menu.

That is kind of what I thought. I suppose that would work temporarily. It is a way around my problem anyway. At least it would be usable.
