Remapped HD channel don't work???
I have a fusion 5 lite and a PVR USB2 installed on the system. I want to remap the channel for the digital card so they can linup with their analog/cable counterparts. If I remap the channels and then try to view them the screen is blank and I get a "no signal" button. If I unmap the channel then everything works just fine.
Any thoughts? Jim |

Remapping tells SageTV what channel to actually tune to to receive that channel, not just what number it should be listed as.
Perhaps try setting the Program Guide to sort by channel name instead? - Andy

Andy,
What does it do if you put in a bogus channel number? Like I was trying to repmap 42 = WHDHDT to 7.1 It accepted it.. and sorts it correctly... but I get the blank screen.. with the no signal. Maybe I'll just have to put some debug hooks in with studio to see how it works.. On a similiar note... How can we specify subchannels when we remap?? A different problem I have is my PBS subchannels are all goofed up even with out a remap... But I swore though that before I added the PVR USB I tried to remap my PBS stations and it tuned the channel (the wrong one... but it tuned the channel) I had tried to set 19 = WGBHDT to 2.1 and 19= WGBHDT2 to 2.2 and I believe that I was able to tune them... (my issues is when I tuned to WGBHDT I actually got WGBHDT2. Luckily I don't really watch PBS, but I'd like to get this resolved.... I guess also I can change the guide to it will just sort by the remapped name and not tune to it... I want to keep my digital stations next to my cable stations in the guide. That's why I was trying to remap the digital ones to it's cable counterpart... Jim |

Bump.
This is annoying and should be fixed. Has anyone gotten a work-around going or a response back from tech support? Finding ABC on channel 24, NPR on 30, and a local station on 57 is a pain. It would seem that relabeling channels in the guide would be pretty straightforward. Thanks. Yorick |
