Can't scroll thru schedule with start-padding

I got a wierd one.

On Saturday morning, "This Old House" shows twice back to back at 7:00-7:30 and 7:30-8:00 on the same channel with 1-minute start padding. I also have my system set up to NOT "remove padding on back-to-backs".

If I scroll through my upcoming recording schedule, it won't scroll past the first showing of "This Old House" on saturday if I am using my remote. If I use the mouse it will scroll past the first showing and show the second showing.. My remote uses sendcommands and when it stops scrolling, if you try to scroll down the top info jump back and forth between the 7:00-7:30 and 7:30-8:00 showings. However, the 7:00 showing is the last box in the schedule.

If I remove the padding, or select "remove padding", then it works fine. Also, if I change the view to "interleaved" it works fine, just not in parallel mode showing all 5 tuners.

Can you use the page up/down commands? I find that works for me in the schedule.

Just tried that and it will let me scroll past the stoppage. Thanks for the workaround.

Do you get the same behavior, so it isn't just me? Now the question is, why?

I would report it to SageTV so they can see if there is a problem with the way the arrow commands work in that situation -- those are the commands you mean, right? I've never noticed it myself & I have lots of padding in use, so I don't know what to say about it.

Went ahead and sent in a report to Sage.

More weird behavior, if I arrow down using the navigation arrows on the 45-button remote, sendcommand 5 it will stop at the first showing, doing a channel down/pg down command 12 will get me past the stoppage. Then, if I scroll up so that both showings are visible, I can arrow back through the second showing. But if I scroll back up so the second show if off the screen, I can't arrow back down. Scrolling up works fine all the time.

edit: And it only affects me with start-padding, end-padding works fine.

I have been reporting this issue with SageTV since version 2.X. I gave reporting it since Dan said he could not reproduce the issue even when I sent him my wiz.bin and properties files. It seems really reproducible to me. Hopefully you will have better luck.

I noticed it since 2.0.20 as well it just wasn't annoying enough to me to make me want to send a support request. I annoyed them enough with stupid errors already. I figured it was something I was doing. Thanks for the additional info I never traced it to start padding just padding in general.
