Completely Baffled by Filters and Decoders
Ok... I give up. I just don't understand codecs and filters and decoders.
I cannot get SageTV to play with any reasonable CPU util %. The hardware : Athlon 64 3000+ Fusion HDTV 5 Gold Radeon 9250 Delta Audiophile 24/96 using coax output The Software : Sage 4 WinDVD installed, most other DVD programs available but not installed Nvidia drivers uninstalled because they made sage crash Here's what filter graph gives me when I give it a .ts : The Oc - Disconnect.ts to Sage TV MPEG Splitter Sage TV MPEG Splitter with video to Dvico MPEG2 Video Decoder and AC3 to AC3 filter Dvico MPEG2 Video Decoder goes to Video Renderer AC3 Filter goes to Default Direct Sound Device ------------------------------------- Now... if I try to play the .ts in media player classic, it plays no video, and the audio is garbled SageTV will play it but with 100% CPU util The Fusion HDTV program timeshifts and watches with super low CPU. Any ideas? Ty |
