heatmizer, I have the same problem if I run the winTV programs, but SageTV works for me as long as I don't ever run the winTV programs after a restart

Some say they have gotten it to work with the two different versions. I was not successful. Tried installing old first then new. New first then old. Several different drivers for each and every attempt was preceded with a clean OS (restored from Ghost image.) I now have two of the new version cards (the shorter card being the new version) and it works flawlesly, in 15 minutes, on the first try. You can try contacting hauppauge and let them know your situation. One of the board members reported that Hauppauge exchanged his old card for a new one when he explained the same situation. I ordered my card from Frey and since the cards ordered here ship directly from Hauppauge I got a new one. Just wish I could of gotten the card from Circuit City when they had thier special going (all my local CC's had only the old version.) Good luck.

BTW, I have never even installed winTV.

If you do contact Hauppauge, be sure to do it by phone. I tried by email, and the response I got was that they would only replace a card if it was bought directly from Hauppauge website. When I sent a response explaining the problem further, the guy finally realized I was talking about using two tuner in one machine. He then responded that Hauppauge doesn't support that. I was also given the web address of the beta drivers, as if I didn't know how to find them.

I have also been having major problems getting two cards to work. I had two different versions and had Hauppauge swap one out. This did not help me at all. I did clean OS installs, tried the beta drivers, upgraded my bios, removed all other cards, nothing worked. I then tried the two cards in my everyday computer and it worked fine. I think it is a compatibility problem with my MSI Ultra 845ARU motherboard. After I do some more testing, I plan to swap my everyday PC with my Sage server. The working computer has a Gigabyte motherboard.
