Change Naming Scheme for Recordings

I'm sure this question has been answered, but after several searches (the word "name" being to common to search by), I haven't been able to find the answer.

Is there a way to change sagetv's naming scheme. I would like recordings to be named as follows: {Show} - {Episode}. Adding the date would be neat too.

I have not upgraded to version 4 yet (think I'm running 2.2.8).

Pretty much your only option is to use the use_episodes_in_filenames property (an option in the v4 UI) to tell SageTV whether to include the episode name as part of the filename. You can't tell SageTV to customize it in other ways.

Meaning there is nothing exposed in the API?

Meaning that property is the only option I am aware of, in all the various ways of using/configuring SageTV.
