AverMedia 180 (WhiteBox)
I was looking at AverMedia's website and it states that you must have a different analog tuner installed for the 180 to work.
http://www.aver.com/2005home/product...0wb_spec.shtml I have an AverMedia 150 currently, purchased from Sage, and I have the STB going into my S-Video and I'm successfully changing channels thru the Firewire to my 8300HD. I want to add OTA - can't I just keep the same configuration with the 180 and add the OTA antenna or am I missing something ? I have this all installed in an X-Shuttle box so I'm limited to 1 PCI slot and 1AGP slot. And will I have to get a new remote or will the 150 remote still work ? Thanks for any information !

You don't need an analog card installed. The A180 will work fine as the only card in your system.
Can't answer your remote question though.
