Questions for Girder Experts
I am new to Girder and am in learning mode ... I have figured out how to set it up with the Sage Plug-in and assign the Sage Commands to my Firefly remote control buttons. I have also learned how to add other commands to Exit and Launch sage, but am having trouble with MultiGroup Remote Assignments ...
Can one of you Girder Experts please help me out ... See my attachment for what I am trying to accomplish? As always .... Thanks!! T. OH ... also ... last question while I am at it ... My Firefly has a Mouse button that when pressed would allow you to toggle use of the up, down, left, right and select butons on the remote control for moving the mouse cursor. Though it didn't use a toggble, my old Remote Wonder was able to use a seperate large round mouse button to move the mouse in Sage. But, how would I get the Firefly Mouse button to toggle for mouse use?? Last edited by mightyt; 12-04-2005 at 11:54 AM. |

It looks like your target is wrong. Should be:
Match invisible Tasks Substring matching Name - SageWin Class Name - SageApp Executable - Sage (all checked) And the eventstring should be under the multigroup. Eventstrings trigger their immediate parrent. |

That did the trick ... This is really great! In essence, I can for the most part, create custom macro commands to go anywhere / do anything I want in Sage and then program any button on my remote to trigger it. Since you did so well with that one ... any thoughts on the Mouse button question?? Thanks Again, T. |

Honestly, I have no idea. Did the Firefly come with an app that Girder replaced? If so, it may not....
Actually, take a look at the Mouse tab. What you could do, is make a multigroup toggle, that would cycle through and enable/disable a (for example) "Mouse" group, which would have mouse up, down, etc in it. |

Well, The Firefly Remote is from Snapstream and they provide Beyond Media Basic. I didn't want their PVR stuff so installed the Drivers Only with Girder Firefly Edition (v.3.31). http://www.snapstream.com/download/firefly/ I'll have to try out the Mouse Tab per your suggestion ... Thanks again ... T. |
