VIA EPIA SP 1300

Is anyone else running Sage on a VIA EPIA SP 1300 board?
If so do you have any trouble running sage on?
Is the video rendering a bit iffy?
When in video playback and you press 'ESCAPE' for the menu, does is scroll slowly?

I'm asking as I have a few issues where I’m curious if its hardware or software issues with the likes of java etc.

This board should do fine. What kind of tv tuner card are you using? How much ram do you have installed? How fast are/is the HDD/'s? What type of remote do you use? VIA's can be picky with hardware. I have owned three VIA based PC's and have had few problems when configured properly.

"One of the biggest hits of the EPIA series is the ability to use them flawlessly as HTPC’s and the EPIA SP continues to support this function. The VIA VT1623 Digital TV encoder chip is added to support TV output from the onboard graphics. The VT1623 chip allows for RGB, SCART, S-Video, Composite as well as YCrCb outputs. The VIA EPIA SP only has an RCA and S-Video output so no HDTV outputs by default, however, with the LVDS module available you can add HDTV to this setup."

1 Gig of RAM.
I expect it just needs a format and be re-installed.
