Please add your comments to CNET download site

Please log your own personal review of SageTV at the CNET download site. The current reviews out there are from before we added software encoding and are currently not refelcting the capabilities of the software. We need your help to change this to a heavy positive (assuming that's how you feel )

Thanks,
Dan

Exclamation

I've added my comments but it makes me think of something. Is there a thread or method of making feature requests?

If not, is it possible to create a sticky that people can post to with requests?

SageTV has asked that requests be submitted directly to them via their contacts.

Software encoding is... ummm... Not worth looking at as a viable recording option right now unless you have a heavy duty cpu. Even on my FX55 it took CPU usage to almost 80%. So that's not even close to a feature I could laud praises on right now.

Overall... I gave sage a 3 out of 5. (3.5 if they had half points)... If it makes you feel any better, I'd give every other competitor a 2 out of 5 or less.

I'd have more positive stuff to post there if I had an HD extender and a Linux download!

There is a review also on CPU Magazine http://www.computerpoweruser.com/edi...E5D1F340489F62
I put in a user review but it has to be approved before it posts.
