Freezing when switching channel

I have been reading in these forums for days now. And i can't find an answer to this problem. When I change the channel in sage tv I get a black screen with no audio. I have reinstalled java and sagetv so many times its insane. I upgraded latest nvidia drivers just to see if that would work. I have tried the default codec, intervideo noncss video decoder for hauppage, intervideo video decoder, and sagetv mpeg video decoder all with and without 3d acceleration. I have a WinTv pvr usb 2, Windows xp sp2. This problem is only with sagetv, cause i have tried other apps and there is no issue. I love sagetv cause its the best but I am not about to buy a product when i can't get the trial to work.

I have just noticed after reinstalling it again that it freezes when changing channels if the recording quality is changed to svcd extra long play. Seems like no matter what vcd or svcd quality i choose it freezes during the changing of channel. But if choose the other quality like good or best or what ever it seems to work fine.

For any one who has this problem, uses the search and finds this reply.

I got an email today that said this:
"For now try this. Close SageTV and the service if running and open up your
Sage.properties file. Look for this line, "seeker/fast_mux_switch=true" and
change it from true to false. Let me know how that goes."

I tried it and it works!

This has been fixed for 4.1 (it does the same thing as the property setting does whenever it's using an SVCD quality)
