Menu update issues in 4.0

Are these bugs in the current software or is it my setup?

The setup wizard went through fine, but the trouble started once I tried to add my favorites. So for example I watch all three CSI versions and typed in CSI as titel. No proplem, found it but when I click on "CSI:Miami" for example it would not add it to the favorites list - at least that is what I throught. Then I realized after closing the program and starting it back up, the list shows.
The same experience I had with my recordings. They would not show if I just opened the SageTV app from the system tray, but if I closed it and then completely restarted it it showed my recordings. Then I tried to start the service, which again worked without a problem, but when I would open the GUI from the system tray nothing would happen. In the task manager it shows both the SageTV.EXE and the SageTVService but it would not open the gui. I had to kill both tasks first and then restart the GUI only.

I have never had any of these issues with earlier versions of SageTV.

Unless someone else has a suggestion to offer, I would contact tech support... that one sounds strange.

Did you make any changes to the properties file? If so, shut SageTV down completely, save your wiz.bin, properties files, and properties autobackup files in some other dir. Then, keep your wiz.bin, but delete the original properties files & their autobackups. Restart SageTV & reconfigure... and finally see if the problem persists.
