Where to recomend features?

Where does one recomend features for SageTV that will be noticed by the developers? We love SageTV at this point for watching TV and recording it it does everything that we want. However, we'd love to see some additinal concentration on the Media Library.

Specifically, in the MP3 area and the Video library.

We'd love to see both of them be linked into online databases like the CDDB and IMDb to display information about the content selected. If I can link my DIVX movies into the Media Library and have them all list information about them that would be amazing. The same goes for MP3s.

As SageTV becomes more and more of my media hub. I'd love to see these features and would be willing to pay for an upgrade that contained them.

Including buying for all the developers.

I chose "that monkeys uncle" solely because I like to exercise my options.

Thanks stanger89, I did take a look at the IMDB module from Nielm which is very cool stuff. I wish they'd integrate it right into SageTV. When I look at modifying my STV files and read the manual warning about how dangerous it can be I get a little nervous with how stable my system is right now.

Will the Nielm module automatically look up movies that you open using the Media Libraries Browse function on 4.0? If it automatically looked them up by file title it would be exactly like what I want.

I really would like to see basically a way to catalog all of my DIVX movies and MP3s in SageTV. That way we can scroll through the list and get full information on Album or Movie. This makes it really easy to pick movies when watching with friends/family.

Hopefully, someone at SageTV is watching all of the forums and decides they'd like the feature at home.

This would make the Media Library so much more robust.

Like I said I'd pay for the upgrade and send adult beverages to the developers.

I've never used the IMDB import, so I'm not sure, but I think you have to manually look it up.

For what you want, it sounds like DVD Profiler might be more appropriate. The STVs that support it can be setup to automatically lookup the data on the fly.
